The Pros make it e.max
Dental professionals across the globe have chosen IPS e.max for over 150 million restorations and counting*.

No matter which technique you choose, all components are available from one manufacturer. If you prefer to work with the Press technique, two different types of ingots are available: IPS e.max Press, a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic. For CAD/CAM applications, either the highly esthetic IPS e.max CAD a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic blocks or the high-strength IPS e.max ZirCAD zirconium oxide can be selected, depending on case requirements. The nano-fluorapatite layering ceramic IPS e.max Ceram completes the all-ceramics system. This material is used to veneer multiple materials including lithium disilicate glass-ceramic or zirconium oxide.

The clinically proven solution for all your CAD/CAM needs.

IPS e.max CAD is an innovative lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) for CAD/CAM applications. This unrivalled system combines highly esthetic quality with exceptional user-friendliness. Unlike any other CAD/CAM material, IPS e.max CAD covers a comprehensive spectrum of indications. A wide range of translucency levels, shades and block sizes offers great flexibility. Tried-and-tested, coordinated cementation materials complement the system.

IPS e.max CAD streamlines the fabrication of full-contour restorations that demonstrate high strength, durability and proven clinical properties.

A wide variety of restorations can be produced with these materials – from thin veneers to three-unit bridges. High esthetic standards are fulfilled due to the three different levels of translucency of the A-D shades and the special Bleach and Impulse shades. Individual characteristics can be added using the staining or cut-back technique.

Advantages

  • Leading CAD/CAM material – considerably higher strength
compared with competitive glass and hybrid ceramics
  • Comprehensive indication spectrum
  • Scientifically and clinically proven
  • Wide availability due to the CAD/CAM partner network
(fabrication in-house and by authorized milling centers)
  • Tried-and-tested cementation materials are coordinated with
    lithium disilicate (LS2)

IPS emax Press
IPS e.max Press are lithium disilicate glass-ceramic ingots for the press technique.

IPS emax Press are biocompatible lithium disilicate glass-ceramic ingots. They offer the fit, form and function which is expected from pressed ceramics. In addition, they offer flexural strength of 470 MPa and resilient fracture toughness. With optimized esthetic properties, creating all-ceramics restorations that offer true-to-nature results has never been so easy.

IPS emax ZirCAD Prime
The next Generation of All Ceramics.

A versatile and innovative premium zirconium oxide material with a large indication range. IPS e.max ZirCAD is ideal for fabricating copings and frameworks as well as full-contour crowns and bridges. Dental professionals benefit from the material's high performance, versatility and function. IPS e.max ZirCAD is the material of choice when high strength, minimal reduction and natural looking esthetics are required.

IPS e.max Press are lithium disilicate glass-ceramic ingots for the press technique.

A wide selection of ingots is offered from which users can choose the one that suits their preferred processing technique (staining, cut-back or layering technique) and the case at hand (e.g. discolored preparation).

The restorations are characterized or veneered with matching staining materials or layering ceramic from the IPS e.max Ceram assortment. The press material for the fabrication of full-contour restorations is available in 16 A-D and four Bleach BL shades. The materials for the layering technique are supplied in group shades.

Multi Ingots
The material demonstrates a lifelike shade progression from the dentin to the incisal areas and therefore imparts monolithic restorations with a highly esthetic appearance. With these ingots, veneers and anterior, posterior and hybrid abutment crowns are fabricated quickly and efficiently.
HT Ingots
The high translucency ingots (HT) are suitable for the fabrication of minimally invasive full-contour restorations, such as inlays, onlays and veneers.
MT Ingots
These medium-translucency ingots are used in cases where a brighter material than HT and a more translucent material than LT is needed.
LT Ingots
Full-contour partial crowns and crowns are fabricated with the low translucency ingots (LT). In the anterior region in particular, the esthetic appearance of the restorations is maximized by employing the cut-back technique
MO Ingots
The medium opacity ingots (MO) are used to fabricate substructures for vital or slightly discolored teeth. They create an ideal basis for lifelike restorations completed with the layering technique.
HO Ingots
In cases where the prepared tooth structure is discolored or titanium abutments are used, the HO ingots mask the dark background to achieve highly esthetic results.
Impulse Ingots
The restorations produced with these ingots have exceptionally opalescent properties. Therefore, this material is ideal for producing (thin) veneers for light teeth, which require an opalescent effect.

Advantages

  • Proven, high-strength material for long-lasting clinical results; flexible
    cementation options

  • Lifelike esthetics, regardless of the shade of the prepared tooth

  • Polychromatic Multi ingots for utmost efficiency

  • Five levels of translucency and additional Impulse ingots for maximum flexibility

  • Minimally invasive, accurately fitting restorations

  • Adhesive, self-adhesive, or conventional cementation options depending on the indication

Indications

  • Thin veneers (0.3 mm), veneers

  • Occlusal veneers

  • Inlays, onlays, partial crowns

  • Minimally invasive crowns (≥ 1 mm)

  • Three-unit bridges (up to the second premolar as the terminal abutment)

  • Hybrid abutments and hybrid abutment crowns
