No matter which technique you choose, all components are available from one manufacturer. If you prefer to work with the Press technique, two different types of ingots are available: IPS e.max Press, a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic. For CAD/CAM applications, either the highly esthetic IPS e.max CAD a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic blocks or the high-strength IPS e.max ZirCAD zirconium oxide can be selected, depending on case requirements. The nano-fluorapatite layering ceramic IPS e.max Ceram completes the all-ceramics system. This material is used to veneer multiple materials including lithium disilicate glass-ceramic or zirconium oxide.

IPS e.max CAD is an innovative lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) for CAD/CAM applications. This unrivalled system combines highly esthetic quality with exceptional user-friendliness. A wide variety of restorations can be produced with these materials – from thin veneers to three-unit bridges. High esthetic standards are fulfilled due to the three different levels of translucency of the A-D shades and the special Bleach and Impulse shades. Individual characteristics can be added using the staining or cut-back technique.

IPS e.max Press are lithium disilicate glass-ceramic ingots for the press technique.
A wide selection of ingots is offered from which users can choose the one that suits their preferred processing technique (staining, cut-back or layering technique) and the case at hand (e.g. discolored preparation).
The restorations are characterized or veneered with matching staining materials or layering ceramic from the IPS e.max Ceram assortment. The press material for the fabrication of full-contour restorations is available in 16 A-D and four Bleach BL shades. The materials for the layering technique are supplied in group shades.
