IDS 2009: the innovations of Ivoclar Vivadent
IDS 2009 – Innovation as far as the eye can see
Schaan, Liechtenstein - 28 January 2009
The core topics covered by Ivoclar Vivadent at IDS 2009 will be all-ceramics, CAD/CAM, composites and implant prosthetics. On an exhibition space of more than 600 sqm, Ivoclar Vivadent will showcase important product developments and innovations. A live stage where a top lineup of international professionals will be sharing their knowledge underlines the communication and science orientation of the company.
For IDS 2009, Ivoclar Vivadent will be introducing a number of innovations in its competence fields of All-ceramics, Composites and Implant Esthetics.
The trend towards all-ceramics continues unabated
In the field of all-ceramics, Ivoclar Vivadent will present an extended version of the IPS e.max System, which now covers all indications – even zirconium oxide abutments. The new blocks and matching equipment open up unforeseen possibilities in CAD/CAM and press technology.
Convenience for the dentist
Numerous products for dentists have been adjusted to better meet customer needs. One of them is the luting composite Multilink Automix, which is now available in the “Easy Clean-Up” formulation. It allows excess cement to be removed easily and cleanly. A new implant cement is bound to cause a sensation.
New tooth line
The removable prosthetics range of Ivoclar Vivadent will be complemented by a new highly wear-resistant, nano-hybrid composite tooth line. Its superior aesthetics clearly outperforms that of existing products.
Exchange of knowledge on the live stage
Apart from the new product developments, the live stage will be one of the highlights at this year’s IDS. Several top international lecturers will make an appearance and answer the questions of IDS visitors. The experts will report on their experiences every day from 09:30 am to approx. 06:00 pm and provide tips and tricks for dental professionals. There is the possibility of exchanging experiences with the industry’s leading experts throughout the exhibition.
