These high-quality ProArt Print materials have been specially developed for dental applications and cover a wide variety of applications. Opaque-beige material for dental models
 

ProArt Print Model is a light-cured resin for stereolithography 3D printing. The opaque-beige material is suitable for the production of models. Implant models, models for the fabrication of vacuum-formed splints and models with removable dies can be fabricated.

Similar look and feel to conventional plaster models

It is as comfortable to work with models made from ProArt Print Model as with conventional plaster models. Contours are easily visible due to the opaque-beige shade of the material. This allows for fatigue-free working. Good surface conditions prevent reflections. The surface morphology is easily visible.

Dimensionally stable and accurate models

ProArt Print Model produces models that feature excellent dimensional stability. Their high precision results in accurately fitting final restorations. This is an advantage, in particular in complex cases and long-span restorative work. The coordinated cleaning and post-curing process additionally supports the accuracy of the final results by ensuring that undesired material residue is removed and the material is cured to an ideal degree of hardness after printing.

Yellow material for pressing objects and for printing wax trees

ProArt Print Wax is a light-cured burn-out resin for stereolithography 3D printing. Given its favourable burn-out properties, the material is ideally suited for the production of pressed objects.

Ideal for the press technique

ProArt Print Wax is the ideal auxiliary for use in the press technique with IPS e.max Press: Single objects, such as inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges can be produced using this material. In addition, the material can be employed to print wax trees with the help of the Digital Wax Tree software add-on.

Excellent burn-out properties

ProArt Print Wax burns out reliably, without causing tension. The high quality of the burn-out process enhances the accuracy of fit and ultimately the success rate with the pressing technique.

True-to-detail pressed objects

Textures and surface details are faithfully reproduced, reducing the need for reworking. With the structures being easily visible, fatigue-free working is possible.

Transparent material for splints and drilling templates

ProArt Print Splint is a transparent, light-cured resin for stereolithography 3D printing. The material is suitable for the production of occlusal splints and drilling templates. It can also be used to create try-in bases for fixed and removable prosthetics.

Transparent and strong

The objects manufactured from ProArt Splint are characterized by a high degree of transparency. This is particularly relevant for splints: they are virtually invisible when worn. When used in drilling templates, the material affords a better overview.

ProArt Print Splint offers high strength, without being brittle, and has therefore a low risk of fracture.

What is the advantage of the low flexural modulus and the high fracture toughness? 

The flexural modulus is a measure of a material’s stiffness/ability to bend. At body temperature, the flexural modulus of ProArt Print Splint decreases, which means that the material becomes less stiff and more flexible. This characteristic makes the insertion and removal of the splints easier and ensures that they adapt well to the teeth.

Fracture toughness is composed of Kmax and work of fracture. Among the materials compared, ProArt Print Splint is the only one that almost complies with the requirements of ISO20795-2 for orthodontic and denture base materials with regard to fracture toughness. The work of fracture of ProArt Print Splint is more than 270% higher than that of the second-best material. Therefore, the material offers users the reassurance that even if a crack develops, a fracture will only occur in rare cases. Due to the material’s excellent fracture toughness, the splints provide higher resistance to damage by bruxing, chewing or dropping.

In combination, the two properties mentioned ensure that ProArt Print Splint features enhanced flexibility and provides protection against damage by bruxing, chewing, dropping and crack propagation.
