The IPS Multi Wax Patterns are precision wax patterns suitable for spruing the wax-up to the ring base. The special shape of the wax patterns decisively influences the flow behaviour of the IPS e.max Press Multi material during the press procedure. The patterns ensure that the progression of colours (dentin/incisal) is pressed into the correct position in the restoration. Form A is used to sprue very delicate restorations (e.g. mandibular anterior teeth) to the ring base. Form B is used for all the other types of restorations.
