You can combine the Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) with vocational training at Ivoclar Vivadent. You will benefit in two ways: by earning an academic degree and receiving valuable work experience together with a fixed income.
1st year: In the first year of the degree course, you will be given a solid basic understanding of electrical engineering and electronics at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV). This provides you with an excellent introduction to your course of study and your vocational training, even if you do not have any relevant technical background. If you already have some technical experience, you may be exempted from several parts of the first semester. In some cases you may be able to directly enter the second semester.
2nd year: After the completion of your 3rd semester, you will be employed by Ivoclar Vivadent and you will receive a regular income. The areas that you may work in will cover a large field of electrical engineering and electronics. During your study phase at FHV, you will select an area of specialization within the dental industry – either energy technology, automation engineering or computer science. For more information, see the FHV website: www.fhv.at
3rd year: After you have successfully completed your dual curriculum – both your academic studies at FHV and your vocational training at Ivoclar Vivadent – you will be well prepared for pursuing a career in electrical engineering.
