Ivoclar Vivadent settles patent suit against Sagemax with patent license agreement

On August 12, 2013 Ivoclar Vivadent filed a patent infringement suit against the zirconia manufacturer Sagemax Bioceramics, Inc., headquartered in Seattle, USA, asserting that certain dental blanks sold or made by Sagemax infringed two Ivoclar Vivadent patents. Today, Ivoclar Vivadent announced that it has settled its patent infringement lawsuit against Sagemax Bioceramics, Inc. after signing a license agreement. Ivoclar Vivadent considers its technologies and patents very valuable and will remain resolute and active in asserting its patents.
