Greater variety of programs

Schaan, Liechtenstein – 10 June 2010

The new Programat P300 is characterized by a much wider array of programs and various new features. At the same time, the furnace continues to offer the proven features of the predecessor model.

Compared to the predecessor model, the number of programs has been substantially increased: The new Programat P300 offers users the possibility of creating more than 300 individualized programs and features 120 standard programs for Ivoclar Vivadent products. The extension of the program range went hand in hand with a revision of the program structure, which makes the new version of the ceramic furnace even easier to operate. Another innovation is the USB port, which enables software updates or data exchanges with PCs or laptop computers to be carried out.

New technologies

Programat P300 has been fitted with a host of new technologies: the innovative power-saving feature (Power Saving Technology) reduces power consumption by up to 40% in the stand-by mode. This reduces energy costs and at the same time helps protect the environment. The TSP (Thermo Shock Protection) function protects the ceramic against thermal shock if the furnace head is closed when it is too hot. And the "Power Fail Save” technology ensures that short power cuts will not interrupt the program.

Tried-and-tested features

Apart from these innovations, Programat P300 continues to offer well-proven furnace features such as QTK muffle technology, which provides homogeneous heat radiation and thus ensures optimum firing results. Or the special calibration program, which allows the furnace temperature to be checked and adjusted by the laboratory team if required. And last but not least, the special pre-drying program, which ensures that the ceramic material is pre-dried in a optimum fashion before the furnace head is closed and the firing cycle started.

The second-generation Programat P300 will be available from August 2010 onwards.
