BPS celebrates its anniversary
Dentists, prosthodontists and dental technicians from 23 countries joined the 10th-year celebration of the BPS System from Ivoclar Vivadent on 4 May. The anniversary was celebrated with a symposium, workshops and an excursion to the Muttersberg in Bludenz/Austria. The international participants enjoyed the different contests, such as teeth throwing, tree-trunk sawing and alphorn playing, and the Austrian buffet afterwards.

Fluor Protector: study results
According to a recent study involving adolescents in Sweden (Stecksén-Blicks et al. 20071), the regular application of a fluoride varnish should be a standard procedure in orthodontic treatment. The objective of the investigation was to assess the effect of a fluoride varnish on the formation of white spot lesions (WSL).

They are detrimental to the teeth of children, teenagers and adults alike. Fluor Protector acts like a protective shield and prevents erosion.
Cervitec Gel
The chlorhexidine and fluoride contained in the new chlorhexidine gel offer double protection and easy application. The new Cervitec Gel protects gums, teeth and restorations by maintaining the health of the gingiva and oral mucous membrane. The special feature about Cervitec Gel is that it additionally contains fluoride. While chlorhexidine fights harmful bacteria, 900ppm fluoride strengthen the natural teeth. This offers double protection and exceptionally easy application: use Cervitec Gel to brush the teeth in the evening instead of normal toothpaste.

Ivoclar Vivadent extends the IPS e.max assortment
New Gingiva materials for IPS e.max For implant works in particular, the fabrication of true-to-nature red-white aesthetics is of utmost importance. Ivoclar Vivadent now offers a total of 12 Gingiva ceramic materials for a lifelike gingival tissue. These materials are composed of five true-to-nature Gingiva materials, four Intensive Gingiva powders and three Essence powders. The advantage is that the materials can be used depending on the individual patient case at hand.

Cervitec Plus and Cervitec Gel
Cervitec Plus and Cervitec Gel from Ivoclar Vivadent are representatives of the latest generation of protective preparations. Cervitec Plus protects susceptible tooth surfaces and reduces the baterial activity on teeth. BPS celebrates its anniversary
Dentists, prosthodontists and dental technicians from 23 countries joined the 10th-year celebration of the BPS System from Ivoclar Vivadent on 4 May. The anniversary was celebrated with a symposium, workshops and an excursion to the Muttersberg in Bludenz/Austria. The international participants enjoyed the different contests, such as teeth throwing, tree-trunk sawing and alphorn playing, and the Austrian buffet afterwards.
