In order to meet the need for a more comfortable and gentle OptraGate for children that minimizes pressure, an ExtraSoft version of the tried-and-tested lip and cheek retractor OptraGate Junior has been developed.

The special feature about Cervitec Gel is that it additionally contains fluoride. While chlorhexidine fights harmful bacteria, 900ppm fluoride strengthen the natural teeth. The innovative polychromatic IPS Empress CAD Multi block is now available in two Bleach shades for fabricating particularly bright restorations in the CAD/CAM technique: BL1 and BL 3. These two shades supplement the IPS Empress CAD product range and are part of the comprehensive Bleach shade range of Ivoclar Vivadent.

Dentists, prosthodontists and dental technicians from 23 countries joined the 10th-year celebration of the BPS System from Ivoclar Vivadent on 4 May. The anniversary was celebrated with a symposium, workshops and an excursion to the Muttersberg in Bludenz/Austria. The international participants enjoyed the different contests, such as teeth throwing, tree-trunk sawing and alphorn playing, and the Austrian buffet afterwards.

Ivoclar Vivadent has been doing successful business on the Russian market for 32 years. At present, the Ivoclar Vivadent core team in Russia encompasses a total of 12 staff. At the beginning of this year, Markus Gilgen was appointed sales director for the CIS states.
All-ceramics, CAD/CAM, composites and implant superstructures are the highlights of Ivoclar Vivadent at IDS in Cologne in March 2007. The Liechtenstein-based company will present a "futuristic" 600-m2 booth that can be experienced with all your senses and a "visionary" concept.
Ivoclar Vivadent achieved a 2006 sales increase of 11% over the 2005 level completing a very successful business year. The international Ivoclar Vivadent group of companies recorded worldwide sales of 581 million swiss francs (370 million euros).
